When I was a child, Wiro Sableng 212 is the character of serious, but here the character is made to be really funny and this makes a better character. I hope many Indonesian movies just like this, so our film industry can be better. Wiro Sableng 212 is not just action or hero fiction movie, but also it contains the culture of conflict among Javanese thrones in the time of Nusantara. At that time was not like game of throne, but it was more complex and sometimes brother kills brother and sister kills sister. As an Indonesian, I am really really proud!! This movie is an obligatory movie to be watched for next Indonesian generations, especially those who dedicate their life in film industry. So when I heard they going to make a movie about him I'm so excited. The pace is slow, too many characters introduction, and cringe dialogues. I don't know why they choose to make the characters talk like they were in 80's movie. Did they want to bring the nostalgia or something. After good fighting scene at the beginning it got worse. The training scene in the mountain is too long.

It would be better if they make it simpler. Vino is over doing it as Wiro, while he's good at fighting skill, on other things he lacks. I don't think I saw Wiro Sableng, he's acting as if he is Sun Wu Kong, the monkey king from The Journey To The West saga. Other protagonist is not really good, except Adi Sasongko, he is so good and believable as a king. The other good thing is we saw cameo of Ken Ken, the OG Wiro Sableng. The story also has potential, but somehow they make it cringey. Overall this movie doesn't live up as the hype when they promote it.
